I had a very busy day today. My morning was consumed with caring for our little diva in a pink cast. Thank goodness she's crashed out on the couch at the moment! She should be on her oxygen at the very minimum. Her bipap machine would be even better and I'll get there but for right now, I'm letting her rest because she needs it. I'll wake her up to hook her up in a few minutes.
I was juggling phone calls with DME companies and Easter seals about getting Willow's new wheel chair, hospital bed and shower chair this morning. I had a mountain of paperwork to fill out, a housecleaning job that I knew was going to take 3 hours and about 100 other things on my "list" of things to do. Matt took a four day pass from work to help me this weekend until Willow and I could get into a groove. He got up with Willow in the middle of the night last night to give her her medicine and take her to the bathroom. While I was out working on my client's house today, Matt kept the washer and dryer running, scrubbed the kid's bathroom for me and made the most delicious roast! He's really a great cook!
I wear a lot of hats. I am the master of multitasking. I am stretched thinner than I ever thought I could be and when I think "Dear God I can't.handle.one.more.thing!" that one more thing comes and I have no choice. I am weak and lack confidence but I'm glad that HIS power is made perfect in my weakness. I never have to rely on my own strength to do what I do every day. God has blessed me abundantly and I
have so much to be thankful for!
Today, I'm especially thankful for my husband. He makes a pretty darn good roast. Oh. . . and about hooking Willow up to her bipap. Matt already did it while I was typing this.
Good husband.
